So happy with the care!

I brought my new kitten in for her Kitten Vaccinations and a free kitten consultation. The vet and nurses were just wonderful with her! They were so gentle and patient. I asked a ton of questions about Worming Treatment and the Complete Care Plan, and they answered everything with a smile. I felt totally reassured about her health. I'm definitely bringing her back for everything else she needs. Such a fantastic experience!

Good check-up for my cat

Took my cat, Whiskers, in for her Annual Vaccinations last week. Booking online was pretty easy, just picked a time that worked. The vet was really nice with her, didn't rush anything. Whiskers was a bit stressed but settled down. Felt good about the care she got.

Detailed pet health plan experience

I signed my two dogs up for the Complete Care Plan about a month ago. The initial consultation was thorough; they explained all the benefits like discounted Annual Vaccinations and year-round Flea and Tick Treatment. Getting the plan set up online was straightforward, and I received an email confirmation right away. Our first appointment for vaccinations went smoothly, the staff were efficient and the vet took time to answer all my questions about their Prescription Diets. The local practice was clean and well-organized. So far, the value seems excellent for the price, especially with two large dogs. I'm hoping the follow-up treatments are just as easy to schedule and manage.

Reliable for routine care

I used Vets for Pets for my dog's Neutering procedure. The booking process was simple enough, though finding an available slot took a couple of tries. The staff were friendly when I dropped him off and picked him up, and they provided clear aftercare instructions. The procedure itself seemed to go well, and he recovered quickly. My only minor feedback is that parking at that particular location was a bit tight, which made drop-off slightly inconvenient. Overall, the service was good and the cost was reasonable for the procedure.

Consistent excellent service

I've been using Vets for Pets for years now, mostly for routine things like Annual Vaccinations and Flea and Tick Treatment for my cats. This last visit for my older cat's Senior Pet Clinic check-up was just as good as always. The staff know us by now, and it's nice to see familiar faces. They always send reminders for appointments, which is super helpful. The care quality has been consistent across all my visits, no surprises. That's why I keep coming back, it's just reliable.

Anyone know if Vets For Pets usually has good deals for new clients? Looking to get my kitten set up with her first jabs.

P Phil Patel 1 month ago
They usually have a free first consult for puppies and kittens! Definitely worth checking out.

I think they do, yeah. My sister got some kind of starter pack discount when she registered her new dog there last year. Plus the Complete Care Plan saves you a bunch on routine stuff.

Thinking of switching to Vets For Pets for my dog. Do they take most pet insurance plans or is it kinda hit or miss?

S Steve 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty sure they work with most of the big ones. My friend uses them and never had an issue with her Petplan.

They took mine, and it's a pretty niche provider. Best to just call your local branch to double check though, just in case.

Can you actually transfer pet records easily between different Vets For Pets locations? Might be moving next year.

F Faith Hughes 1 week ago
Yeah, it was super easy for me. Moved from Bristol to Leeds and they just zapped them over. Didn't even need to do anything myself really.

Should be fine since they're all under the same umbrella. I think they can access your pet's history across practices.

How are Vets For Pets compared to Medivet? Trying to decide between the two for my cat's dental cleaning.

S Shane R. 1 week ago
I've used both. Vets For Pets felt a bit more personal, but Medivet was fine too. Prices felt pretty similar for standard stuff.

Honestly, it probably depends on the specific branch. Both are big chains. I'd check reviews for the ones nearest you. Vets For Pets often has dental checkup discounts though.

What's the deal with their 'Vacs4Life' thing? Is it actually worth it for a young dog or just a gimmick?

S Steve 1 month ago
My pug is on it, totally worth it. You pay once and then annual boosters are free for life. Saves a ton in the long run.

It sounds good on paper. If your pet is young and healthy and you plan to stay with the same vet group, it probably pays for itself after a few years, I think.
